Level 1 Adult Guitar Course is designed specifically for Absolute Beginners on the guitar. Guiding you through all the fundamental techniques and building the skills that are essential to playing the guitar with confidence. You’ll learn your first basic guitar riffs and bass-lines, explore beginner guitar chords, strumming patterns and rhythm, finger technique and of course all the basics of guitar from tab reading to terminology. The best part of all – we’ll learn songs we all know and love along the way, breaking down famous riffs, chord progressions. And as if it couldn’t be more convenient, you’ll learn in our state-of-the-art guitar studio at The Music Gym where all the guitars are provided. So if you don’t already have a guitar or are hesitant to buy one without first having some skills under your fingers, don’t fret!
LEVEL 2

Our Level 2 adult guitar course is well-suited for guitarists that already have a little experience under their belt. Are confident with basic chords, strumming rhythms, and tab reading.
Expanding on the skills and techniques covered in Level 1, we will explore more complex strumming patterns to express more rhythmic variety while playing. Expand upon the catalogue of beginner chords while improving the speed and fluency of chord transitions. Integrate some new alternate picking techniques, picking patterns and musical concepts such as ‘arpeggios’, root notes and string separation. As with all our guitar course levels, we will apply these new techniques while learning songs we all know and love along the way!
LEVEL 3
Level 3 is the most advanced stage of our guitar courses. It is suitable for players that have developed a good sense of technical ability on the guitar. That are able to change chords fluently, play varying strumming patterns rhythmically, and move up and down the fretboard with decent speed. In Level 3 we see our first glimpse of “bar chords” on the guitar and their varying shapes. Explore beginner guitar scales and their utility in music theory and improvisation. Learn to play melodies within chords, and begin to play songs with a more dynamic landscape as we introduce techniques like ‘accents’, ‘scratches’, and ‘staccato’.
ELECTRIC GUITAR – 8 WEEKS BEGINNER COURSE FOR ADULTS

This 8 week course will guide you through all the fundamental techniques and build the skills that are essential to start playing the guitar with confidence. And as if it couldn’t be more convenient, you’ll learn in our state-of-the-art guitar studio at where all Fender Electric Guitars are provided. So if you don’t already have a guitar or are hesitant of buying one without first having some skills under your fingers, don’t fret!
